Jul 21, 2016 It is the only one that comes with Traktor Scratch Pro 2, which means it comes fully DVS (timecode) capable straight out of the box. The high-res screens and touch-sensitive controls make for a very smart and enjoyable user experience and if you can deal without the jog wheels (as DVS users would), this device is about as good as it gets for Traktor. SurferEQ 2 is a different type of dynamic EQ than that in Neutron 2’s EQ when set up for external sidechaining. Surfer EQ, instead of responding to gain values, responds to pitch. That means the filter nodes follow the incoming pitch of a signal instead of the volume. It’s awesome. TRAKTOR PRO 2 offers various different EQ and Filter types, each with its own distinct sound and features. From within the TRAKTOR Preferences Mixer menu, you can choose the EQ Type and Filter Type. Note: In TRAKTOR PRO 2, all EQ types have been updated to offer a flat frequency response when the knobs are set to middle position. Jan 13, 2010 I am kinda confused on the advantages and disadvantages of the selection of EQ Types and the Filter Section on Traktor Pro. It seems there is: Classic, p600, NUO, and Xone- Obviosuly the Xone has one extra Mid EQ. But what are the differences between the others?? And what is the difference between choosing ladder or Xone for the filter type??
